"Loud and easy to carry, but didn’t really reassure me"
I picked up the Birdie because I liked the idea of having something small and simple to throw in my bag. It’s definitely lightweight and the alarm is really loud, so I can see why some people would feel better carrying it.

For me, though, the pin felt a little too easy to pull, and I kept worrying it might go off accidentally while I was out. In the end, it felt more like a loud noise-maker than something that actually made me feel protected

"Setup Was a Whole Clown Show"
I bought this thinking the setup would be quick and easy, but nope, Professor Simple decided to make everything confusing. The instructions didn’t match what I was actually seeing, so I kept having to guess my way through it like some kind of tech detective. For something that’s supposed to be straightforward, it felt messy and frustrating. Not impressed at all.

"It worked, but I was left waiting"
It did what I needed in the end, but i was hoping for faster help. When I’m stuck, I don’t really want to sit around waiting, so the delay was frustrating for me.

"Too bulky for my keys"
I really wanted to like this because the idea is useful, but having it on my keychain has been more annoying than handy. It’s kind of bulky, gets in the way when I’m digging for my other keys, and the clip just feels awkward to use. I feel like I have to slow down and be patient with it every time, which is not what I want when I’m just trying to grab my keys and go. It might be fine clipped inside a bag, but for everyday keychain use, it’s a bit frustrating.

"Return process turned into a bit of a hassle"
I sent the item back and expected the refund to be straightforward, but it ended up taking longer than I thought. I had to keep following up with support, and it felt like I was stuck in a loop getting passed around or told to wait without much actually happening. The refund did come through in the end, but the whole return process was more frustrating than it needed to be

"Deactivating was more of a hassle than I expected"
I was just trying to deactivate my account one afternoon while clearing out a bunch of old subscriptions and logins, and it ended up being way more annoying than it needed to be. I couldn’t find a simple deactivate option, so I had to poke around the site for a while and eventually email support. They did respond, but the whole thing took longer than it should have for something that should be straightforward.

"Save your time: decent idea, but not totally reassuring"
I bought the Birdie hoping it would make me feel a little safer walking at night, and to be fair, it is loud. But i’m not fully sold on it. The clip feels a bit flimsy, and I keep worrying it’s going to slip off my bag when I actually need it. It’s a nice concept and it does give some peace of mind, but not enough for me to completely trust it.

"Easy to carry, even when I’m in a rush"
I really like the size of it. It fits comfortably in my hand and slips into my small bag without any trouble. It’s not too heavy either, which makes a big difference when I’m already feeling pressured trying to get out the door or walking at night. I don’t mind carrying it every day...

"It works fine overall, so at first..."
It works fine overall, so at first I was like, okay, this isn’t bad. But then the battery started draining way faster than I expected, and I kept thinking, wait, didn’t I just charge this? Kind of disappointing because the product itself is decent, but the battery life really threw me off.

"Why is carrying this harder than it should be?"
I really wanted to like my Birdie because the whole point is that it’s supposed to be easy to carry around. But it made a simple thing kind of annoying. It’s small, sure, but once it was on my keys it felt bulkier than I expected, and it kept getting caught on stuff in my bag. After a while I just stopped bringing it with me, which kind of defeats the purpose. Good idea, but not very practical for my everyday use.

"Surprised it’s still going strong"
I’ve had my Birdie for about 6 months now, i was a little worried it might get beat up living in my purse every day. It’s been dropped in there with keys, receipts, random stuff, you name it. But then every time I test it, it still works, and I’m weirdly relieved all over again. It still looks good too. Just a solid little thing, and I’m glad I bought it.

I was hoping for something a little more fun, but the colors are dull in person. Maybe it’s just me, but it kind of feels like they didn’t put much effort into making the options look appealing.

"Ordering on the site was a headache"
I tried placing an order, but the site was frustrating to use. It felt clunky and confusing, and every time I clicked a button it seemed to send me somewhere else instead of helping me check out. After about 10 minutes of going in circles, I gave up. Come on now, ordering shouldn’t be that hard.

"I bought this thinking the alarm would be..."
I bought this thinking the alarm would be really loud, and I feel kind of stupid for trusting the hype. It’s not nearly as strong as I expected. If I was on a busy street or in a parking lot, I’m not even sure people would notice it right away. It’s a cute little device, but for the price, I definitely expected it to be louder.

The alarm works fine overall, so no real complaints there. I just expected changing the battery to be quick and straightforward, but it ended up being more annoying than it should’ve been. "Strobe barely showed up for me"
I was expecting the strobe to be a lot brighter, but it was barely visible once I set it up. Maybe I should’ve checked the brightness specs more carefully before ordering, but for what I needed, it just wasn’t bright enough.

"Site feels sorta messy"
The site is okay, but the colors feel a little off to me and the pages look sorta cluttered. It could use a cleaner layout so it’s easier to browse.
